Who Are We?

Founded in 1975, The Emerald Society of Illinois is comprised of Irish American Law Enforcement Officers in the State of Illinois.  The Emerald Society of Illinois Society is based in Chicago but has members coast to coast. The Emerald Society of Illinois was created for the promotion of Irish Culture and goodwill through various social events.

The Emerald Society of Illinois is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
